The GhostBed and Tuft & Needle are similar on paper, but feel fairly different in person. Both have springy top layers of foam, but you’ll sink a little deeper into the T&N. We recommend the T&N to average-weight side sleepers, back sleepers under 230 lbs, and stomach sleepers under 130lbs. It’s also the more affordable mattress of the two.

The GhostBed is also a good fit for back sleepers under 230 lbs, but it’s not a good match for side sleepers. We would recommend it to stomach sleepers weighing less than 230 lbs, as well as hot sleepers and those who want a reasonably priced latex mattress.
