The Best Essentia Mattress by Sleeping Position
Side Sleepers
Side sleepers need support for their hips and shoulders to promote spinal alignment. Typically, mattresses on the lower end of the firmness scale are best suited for side sleepers to cradle their joints.
- Stratami
- Classic REM5
- Dormeuse REM9
Back Sleepers
Back sleepers require ample support for their feet, shoulders, and hips, which is best provided by firmer mattresses. That is why we recommend the following models:
- Tatami
- Classic REM5
- Dormeuse REM9
Stomach Sleepers
Stomach sleepers, like back sleepers, need support for their hips, shoulders, and feet to keep their spines properly aligned. They also need neck support since they sleep with their heads turned to the side. We recommend the following models:
- Stratami
- Classic REM5
Combination Sleepers
Combination sleepers alternate their positions frequently throughout the night and need beds that accommodate a variety of sleep positions. If you share a bed with someone else, you also want reduced motion transfer to avoid disturbing others. These are the best mattress options for combination sleepers:
- Classic REM5
