The Brentwood Home mattresses should appeal to consumers with a taste for luxury, as well as adapt to all sleep positions to varying degrees.
Here’s a glimpse into which model suits which sleepers best.
I take the time to talk about sleep position here because of how important it can be to determining the quality of your sleep. It’s not just your body type and the firmness of the mattress that hinders or helps you sleep. How you place your body on the bed also matters. It would be impossible for every mattress to feel good to every type of sleeper with every type of body demanding every level of firmness under the sun. So here we take a moment to discuss how each Brentwood mattress works for side, stomach and back sleepers.
If you sleep on your side, you should look for a mattress that balances pressure relief, contour, firmness, and lower back support. Your hips and shoulders carry much of your weight while you sleep on your side, so the mattress must curve around them without losing support and creating stress on your torso or other joints. Different materials working together can accomplish all of that, which is why hybrids are some of the best mattresses for side sleepers. Also, and not for nothing, mattress companies know that building medium to medium-firm mattresses will cover a wide range of the population since most people do sleep, at least some, on their sides. These models don’t stray too far from medium on either end of the firmness spectrum. And four of the five are hybrids. They’re also the hybrids are very thick mattresses, at least 12 inches each. As a result, side sleepers in every weight class should be OK on the hybrids.
You do your bones and joints and muscles a huge favor if you sleep on your back. That’s because sleeping on your back is the least harmful to your body. Your spine rests in a neutral position and the mattress has gentle curves to accommodate, instead of the more weighty and wide hips and shoulders. Still, don’t ignore proper support either. Your neck and spine will always need that. Shoot for a model in the medium to medium-firm range for average-weighted people and medium-firm to heavier folks. You need your spine to keep its beautiful and functional, curved shape at all times. The medium-firm versions like the gentle firm side of the Crystal Cove and the 11-inch Cypress Bamboo Gel are all good choices.
Again, medium-firm mattresses are normally a good fit for stomach sleepers. Stomach sleepers can find mattress shopping a little more of a challenge since it’s tough on the body to sleep face down. That puts all your weight on your chest, stomach and hips. You’ll need a mattress with an adaptive top layer to accommodate those body parts. But it can’t be too soft since, if your hips sink too far, your spine will get thrown out of alignment. You know that is a recipe for a sore back and hips. Hybrid mattresses like the Crystal Cove, and a medium-firm Cypress Bamboo Gel have enough contouring and support to help most stomach sleepers.

Brentwood gives you an entire year to test-drive its mattress. They ask that you try it for at least 30 days before returning it. Most people need that long to adapt to a new mattress anyway. If the mattress doesn’t work for you, alert the Brentwood people via web chat or phone call. They pay refunds only after the mattress is received and inspected, or your donation to a charity is verified. The company wants to recycle it or donate it if at all possible. All returns are free.
Brentwood Home offers a 25-year limited warranty to original owners only for faulty workmanship or defects in materials. Don’t tear off the Law Tag, the one we’re all tempted to tear off. Just leave it there or you’ll invalidate the warranty.
In the first 10 years, Brentwood will repair or replace a damaged mattress without charge, though you’ll pay for shipping and have to arrange all of the transportation to and from Brentwood. Over the last 15 years, they will prorate your payment based on how many years you’ve already used the mattress.
The warranty covers visible sags greater than 2 inches that didn’t result from you abusing the mattress or using a poor foundation. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or change in comfort preference either.
Brentwood ships free to all lower 48 states. The mattresses are compressed into boxes for shipping. They take 3-5 days to construct and will arrive roughly 1-2 weeks after you order it. You can pay extra for White Glove or curbside delivery service, but that will add two weeks to your delivery time.
You can finance any Brentwood purchase over 3, 6 or 12 months at 0% APR with Affirm. Choose the financing option at checkout and Affirm will do a “soft” credit check on you, that will not affect your credit score, to see if you’re eligible.

In summary, if you are looking for a quality mattress at an economical price point, Brentwood may be the brand for you.
The Brentwood Home line of mattresses offers a comprehensive lineup of environmentally safe hybrids and one all-foam model. Because of the plush, comfort details at the top of each mattress and the thick profile (12 inches at the thinnest), by and large, the Brentwood mattresses manage to be good options for most sleep positions regardless of the weight of the sleeper. In other words, they’re soft enough at the top for light-weight people and thick enough that even heavier sleepers won’t engage the support layer and can rest comfortably.
Brentwood Home has produced mattresses for people who care about wisely using the earth’s resources. They’re a great long-term investment that will support you as you sleep and make you feel good about the earth.
